This book is a the perfect urban romantasy for readers who love a shadow daddy and a morally grey FMC. The pages are filled with shadows, forced proximity, spice and the perfect enemies to lovers romance.
This urban fantasy follows Rory as she is sentenced to 500 years in the prison realm of Vincula, for committing thirteen murders in the hopes of avenging her sisters death. The only catch, once her sentence is up she will have no memory of her time there or the people she meets.
When the the Ruler of Vincula, Caius, has her delivered to his throne room on the day of her sentencing, he is determined to make her existence in Vincula as miserable as possible. Why? Because she is the object of all his desires, and feels as if her arrival was a way to punish him.
With a reputation that’s followed her to Vincula, and a King determined to make her life a living hell from the moment she arrived, will she ever be able to get the revenge she so desperately craves, or will she find herself distracted by shadows that call to her heart?
